I am the founder of “W.I.P.O. Youth Development,” a 501c3 non-profit organization.

W.I.P.O. stands for“Watch It Pay Off”. I am a former college and professional basketball player from Houston, Texas. In 2020, I was in a catastrophic and nearly fatal car accident, that paralyzed me from the waist down. Losing the ability to simply walk was devastating, but what was even harder was losing the one thing that I loved the most. I lost the game of basketball. Though my experience was difficult, it inspired me to give back to my community. In this new season of my life, I have transformed my situation into an opportunity to help youth develop a better future no matter what their circumstances are, as a result W.I.P.O. was born!
